During our exploration, we evaluated various options to refine our vision. Initially, the founding team preferred a traditional and formal approach—favoring a line icon with a protective look and feel. In the first round, I presented “safe” options aligned with their expectations.
At the same time, I wanted to explore a more modern and emotionally engaging direction. While it might seem unconventional to bring emotion into a highly technical product, I saw an opportunity to elevate the brand beyond just a logo. I envisioned the owl not just as a symbol but as a mascot and brand ambassador that enhances user experience.
To support this vision, I shared case studies from other tech companies, demonstrating how brand mascots improve customer interactions. With the rise of AI and LLM-powered conversations, a recognizable and approachable icon helps create a smoother, more natural chat experience, reinforcing the product’s role as an intuitive and communicative solution.
